Thursdays — 6:30 PM · 8:30 PM
Drawing, cutting, basting, stitching, topstitching, embroidering — in this workshop, we explore the essential gestures of textile creation, combining technique, imagination, and ecological awareness. Using discarded garments, forgotten fabrics, and other materials collected from the community, we’ll breathe new life into what has been cast aside, transforming it into objects with practical and visual value.
Sewing becomes the starting point — and often a meeting point — between different creative tools. It’s an invitation to think with our hands, to create with intention, and to stitch new stories from what already exists.
This activity occurs at New Bowing House – Centre for Planetary Relations . It is part of the “Labour” strand of the New Bowing project, which supports individual empowerment through pathways of personal transformation and creative responses to local needs.
