A reflection on the multifaceted nature of the human condition, MUDA explores performance work in relation to the aesthetics of silent cinema. Humour intertwines with tragedy, fantasy with reality and violence with love. The silent extension of things reveals a complex world that challenges us, like tightrope walkers, to transcend the paradoxes of humanity and find the point of convergence that leads to the discovery of beauty.
This performance is the result of a partnership between ACCCA - Companhia Clara Andermatt and INAC - Instituto Nacional das Artes do Circo, and crosses methodologies and languages of contemporary circus and dance, based on the acrobatic body and its techniques.
