This performance began with the wish of a grandmother who wanted to tell her grandchildren what her work was. Her work as a choreographer. They came, and became co-creators of an idea that was not there before. It did not exist.
Together, musicians, performers, a scenographer and these two children created Chão de Meninos, the name of a small place in the municipality of Sintra.
It speaks of laughing snow, of a small fable drowning in white, of playful bears and of a garden-carpet born from a shipwreck. The creator of difficult things, a brave and energetic child, pushed the performance into three new seasons: animals, snow and flowers; and music floods everything.
The children take possession of the ground, invading it, moving through it and making it their own. They laugh with this performance of dance and music, a manifestation of the strengths that are yet to arrive and grow.
